Deceased Name: HOARD
HOARD, Mr. Russell G. - A life long resident of Millington, passed
away Tuesday, November 4, 2003, while at the St. Mary's Medical Center
in Saginaw, MI. Russ was 67 years old. Russ was born June 28, 1937 in
Millington and was the son of Albert and Adorna (Daly) Hoard. In 1956
Russ married his wife of 47 years, Geneieve. Russ was employed for 44
years with the AC-Delphi Plant of GM in Flint and was also a member of
the UAW Local 651. Russ leaves to cherish his memory: his wife,
Genevieve; and their son Russ both of Millington; 2 granddaughters,
Shera M. Hoard and Jaime Lynn Hoard; and a great-granddaughter Skylar
Marie; as well as two sisters, Evelyn Yost of Vassar and Uneta Krause
of FL; special niece and her husband Adorna and Joe Mallard; and their
daughter Jillie; special nephew, David Yost; as well as several other
nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Friends may call at
the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington where the family will be present
on Thursday from 2PM until 8PM. Funeral services for Russ will be
conducted on Friday, November 7, 2003 at 1PM at the Hanlin Funeral
Home, with the burial to follow at the Pinegrove Cemetery in Arbela
Twp. If anyone would like to give a gift of rememberance in Russ's
memory, the family has asked if you would consider doing so to the
Millington-Arbela Historical Society, the Millington Community Center
or to the American Cancer Society. Hanlin Funeral Home has been
assisting the Hoard family with the funeral arrangements.

Russell married Geneieve M. Wheaton on 10 Nov 1956. Geneieve (daughter of Claude Wheaton and Alta Emmons) was born on 13 Feb 1930 in Flint, Genesee Co, Michigan, USA; died on 19 May 2004 in Millington, Tuscola Co, Michigan, USA; was buried in Millington, Tuscola Co, Michigan, USA (Pine Grove Cemetery). Deceased Name: HOARD
HOARD, Mrs. Geneieve M. (Jenny) - Of Millington, MI passed away suddenly at her residence in Millington late Wednesday afternoon, May 19, 2004. Jenny was 74. Geneieve Wheaton was born in Flint, MI on February 13, 1930, and was the daughter of Claude and Alta (Emmons) Wheaton. She married Mr. Russell G. Hoard, November 10, 1956, Russ preceded her in death in November of 2003. Jenny was employed for 30 years with GM at the Chevrolet Manufacturing in Flint, retiring in 1983, she was also a member of UAW Local #659. Jenny leaves to cherish her memory her family: son, Russell W. (Russ) Hoard of Millington, MI; two granddaughters, Shera M. Hoard and Tammie Lynn Hoard; one great-granddaughter, Skylar Marie; two brothers, Mr. Howard Wheaton, and Jerry and Marge Wheaton, all of St. Helen, MI; four sisters, Betty and Eugene Burnett, Evelyn and Jim Norton, all of Gladwin, MI, Geraldine and Guy Snyder of Fostoria, MI, and Gertrude and Dave Berlin of Otter Lake, MI; sister-in-law, Evelyn and Rex Yost of Vassar; as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services for Jenny were held at 11AM, Monday, May 24, 2004 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI with burial in the Pinegrove Cemetery in Arbela Twp. If anyone would like to give a gift of remembrance in Jenny's memory, the family has suggested doing so to the Millington-Arbela Historical Society or to the Millington Community Center. Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington has been assisting the Hoard family with the arrangements for Jenny.

BROWN-HOARD FAMILY (July 1954)
The Brown-Hoard family's 74th
annual reunion was held at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Hoard,
North Main Street Extension with
65 present.
President A. L. Hoard conducted
the business meeting and devotions
were given by Clifford Brown.
The secretary reported two deaths
and three births.
Mr. Brown was elected president;

Beck, historian.
