Emily Louisa Hoard, 63, of Osseo, died Wednesday, June 21, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was a substitute teacher in several Hillsdale County schools prior to her retirement last year, was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Hillsdale and a volunteer of the Community Service Center. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Dennis, and two daughters, Sylvia and Stephanie Hoard. Arrangements are by VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home, 40 S. Manning, Hillsdale.

Emily married Dennis Hoard. Dennis (son of Winfred Hoard and Alpha May Dennison) was born on 14 Jul 1928 in Detroit, Wayne Co, Michigan, USA; died on 27 Jul 2001 in Osseo, Hillsdale Co, Michigan, USA; was buried in Hillsdale, Hillsdale Co, Michigan, USA (Maple Grove Cemetery). [Group Sheet]
