    HOAR, Mary Anna
Mary passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 24, 2012 at 102 years of age.
She is survived by her son, Arnold Floyd (Lora Case), Toronto; his children, Karen (Mark) Witte and their son, Christopher, Toronto; Brian (Tammi) Floyd and their children, Megan, Mackenzie, Riley and Will, Seattle; Karen and Brian's mother, Shirley Floyd, Toronto; daughter, Rosemarie Conn (Leonard); Rosemarie's children, Carla (Albert) Pieracci; their children, Danielle (Cole), Alexander (Aislinn) and their children, Sophia and Luca; Kevin Conn and his son, Seth, and Anna Pieracci; her cherished brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Agnes Deis, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary devoted her life to her family and babysitting for others. She loved to crochet, embroider and garden. Her home was a mini-bakeshop with many tea times to share her baking and have a visit. Mary loved to clean and her home was immaculate. She will now join the cleaning angels in heaven. At this time we ask for your prayers and to recall her 100th birthday which was also a celebration of her long life.Mary's desire was to be laid to rest privately and will be honored with the assistance of Rev. Ken Powers. In lieu of flowers, please have a cup of tea and remember teatime with Mary.
Those of you who have a mother,
    cherish her with care.
You will never know the heartache,
until you see her empty chair.

Mary married Orval Hoar. Orval (son of James Hoar and Sarah Gallagher) was born on 17 Apr 1904 in Oshawa, Ontario, Ontario, Canada; died on 16 May 1972 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; was buried in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada (Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery). [Group Sheet]
