Published on: 12/1/2003 ANNIVERSARY Horrs celebrate 50 years William and Cynthia (Jester) Horr of Sarasota celebrated their 50th anniversary Nov. 15, 2003. They were married Nov. 15, 1953, in Somers, N.Y., and have lived in Sarasota for 18 years. They are the parents of William Horr of Lake Lincolndale, N.Y., Cynthia Blair of Ormond Beach, and Charles Horr of Sarasota. The couple has 10 grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren and two great-stepgrandchildren. They celebrated with a cruise to Mexico with 30 friends and family members. Mr. Horr retired from Readers Digest in Chappaqua, N.Y. He is a Korean War veteran. Mrs. Horr is president of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, Sarasota Chapter.
