      Deceased Name: EVELYN MARIE ANDERSON
      Evelyn Marie Anderson, 84, formerly of Norge, died at Greenville Living Center in Greenville, S.C., on Dec. 29, 2005.
      She was a resident of Norge for many years. She worked as a seamstress and assistant supervisor for the Ladies' Costume Department of Colonial Williamsburg until her retirement.
      She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Annie Hoar, and her husband, George B. Anderson.
      She is survived by her brother, Harold Hoar; her daughter, Marie Hovland; her son, Joseph Anderson; and three grandchildren, Ian, Kyle and Elizabeth Anderson.
      A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at Mount Vernon Methodist Church in Toano. Burial will follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Bucktrout of Williamsburg Funeral Home.
