  Lowell Sun, The Tuesday, March 10, 1964 Lowell, Massachusetts Mrs. Hoar Mrs. Frances E. (Burns) Hoar, wife of Martin J. Hoar of 284 Adams street, died last night at St. Joseph's hospital. Born in Lowell, the daughter of the late James D. Burns, Sr. and the late Agnes B. (Delaney) Burns, she had resided in the Belvidere and Acre sections ol Lowell during her lifetime. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's church. Surviving her are her husband; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph D. Meehan of the faculty of the Moody Junior high school; Mrs. Paul E. Gallagher of the faculty of the Shaughnessy school, and Mrs. Joseph P. Hayes of the faculty of the Parker avenue school, Dracut; two brothers, James D. Burns Jr. and John B. Burns, both of Lowell.
