      Passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Luther Manor at the age of 87 years. He was born July 27, 1925 in Saginaw to the late John and Hazel (Clark) Andrews. He served with the U. S. Marine Corps during WWII. He married Alice Bennett on April 7, 1951; she survives him. He had been employed as a truck driver by Mulvena Truck Line and later Jones Transfer. He was a member of the Catholic faith. Surviving besides his wife are two sons and one daughter, James (Martha) Andrews, Joel Andrews, and Janet Turner, all of Saginaw; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Jeri Andrews; and six brothers and sisters.
      Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Ronald Wagner will officiate with entombment to follow in Eastlawn Mausoleum. Friends may call at the chapel from 2:00 ? 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Diabetes Association.
