She was a president of the Larchmont, N.Y., Assembly and a member of Friends of the Jaffrey Public Library. Survivors include her daughters, Betsy Dennison of Pompton Lakes, N.J., Kathryn H. Cihi of Norwalk, Conn., and Anne Falk of San Rafael; son, William W. Whitten Jr. of Deep River, Conn.; stepdaughters, Kathryn Verman of Charlotte, Vt., Emily Foley of Savannah, Ga., and Susan Horr of Sackets Harbor, N.Y.; mother, Dorothy E.
