Obituary: The Day Newspaper - Connecticut Published on 4/23/2000 Old Lyme ? Jean Adair McCulloch, 69, of Rowland Road, died at home Friday. She was born on Jan. 27, 1931 in Lincoln, N.H., the daughter of Kathleen Hoar of Old Saybrook and the late Horace Hoar. She lived in California for 30 years, teaching junior high school mathematics. She also worked as a secretary at Stanford University and did volunteer work. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, David, whom she married in 1956; four children, Matthew McCulloch of Palo Alto, Calif., Katherine De Los Santos of Old Lyme, Paul McCulloch of Washington, D.C. and Robb McCulloch of Sebastabol, Calif.; a brother, Truman Hoar of Essex; and five grandchildren. Services will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of the donors choice. The Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook, is in charge of arrangements.
