Doris A. (May) Coggiano, of Clearwater, Fla., passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010, at the age of 94, at the Clearwater Comprehensive Health Care Facility. She was born March 12, 1916, in Frontier, the daughter of John and Hope (Thompson) May.
Dorris loved Jesus Christ with all her heart, soul, mind and body.
Her family was very precious to her and that family includes her loving son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Linda) Horr of Dunedin, Florida; one brother, Don (Nan) May of Hillsdale; nephews, Philip May of Jonesville, Doug (Lynne) May of Hillsdale and Mike "Gregg" (Sharon) May of Arcadia, Calif. and other nieces and nephews.

Dorris (May) Coggiano read her Bible every day and even paid someone to come and read the Bible to her when she could not read it because of her eyesight. She was a great giver of her tithe and enjoyed giving other gifts to people that she came across in her lifetime. She loved people and had many friends and she enjoyed visiting with them many times over breakfast or dinner. She also loved going to church when she was able to go and enjoyed flowers and working outdoors.
A private graveside service to honor the life of Dorris A. (May) Coggiano has taken place at the Lakeview Cemetery in Hillsdale.
