      LUBEC - Leona Hoar, 54, died April 4, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 18, 1952, in Lubec, the dauther of the late Darrell "Dingo" Denbow and Gretta (Small) Corlian. She was a graduate of Lubec High School, Class of 1970. She worked as a CNA for Ocean View Nursing Home, until two years ago. She is survived by her beloved husband, Roger T. Hoar Sr.; sons, Roger T. Hoar Jr. and his fianc?e, Amy Vachon and Darrell P. Hoar; a granddaughter, Rojera T. Vachon; sisters, Daphne and husband, Mark Warren, Teresa and husband, Paul Warren, Trudy McDonald, Lynne and husband, Steven Blake; a special friend and sister, Lana Denbow; brothers, Van Denbow and wife, Theresa, Danny Denbow and wife, Cindy, Kevin Denbow, Dale Denbow; and stepbrother, Edward Denbow; special nephews, Boxer J. Hoar Denbow, Dale A. Denbow and W. Keith Gehringer Jr.; special nieces, Amanda Miller, Baylee Cumming, Jessica Carter and Mindy Henderson; special sisters-in-law, Suzanne Miller and Rose Hoar; nieces, Nycole, Jodi, Denise, Cheryl, Virginia, Martha, Lydia, Jamie, Heidi, Sarah, Sandy Jo, Andrea, Varneta, Ami, Becky, April, Mallory, Tosh and Crystal; nephews, Chad, Patrick, Kevin, Warren Lee, Shawn, Mike Jr., Matt, Josh, Alex and Nathan. Visiting hours will be held 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at Christian Temple Church, 41 Main St., Lubec, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. with the Rev. Alan Andracas officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to McClure Family Funeral Services, 1192 Boot Cove Road, Lubec ME 04652 to help with final expense. Arrangements are in care of McClure Family Funeral Services, Lubec.

      BLUE HILL AND LUBEC - Lynne M. Blake, 47, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 14, 2012. Lynne was born Dec. 30, 1964, in Machias, the daughter of Darrell Ray and Gretta Mae (Small) Denbow.
      She graduated from Lubec High School in 1983. She entered the nursing field, working at Oceanview Nursing Home, Lubec, home care and at RMCL. She then moved on to Blue Hill Medical Center. She later went on to bookkeeping at Little Bay Lobster, Stonington. On July 16, 1987, she married her best friend and soul mate, Steven Blake. She enjoyed her lighthouses and all outdoor activities with her husband, family and friends.
      She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Blake of Blue Hill; her mother, Gretta Corielan of Manchester, N.H.; four brothers, Kevin of Manchester, N.H., Dale of Bangor, Van and wife, Theresa, and Danny and wife, Cynthia, both of Lubec; four sisters, Trudy McDonald, Daphne and husband, Mark Warren, of New Hampshire, Teresa and husband, Paul Warren, of Lubec and Lana Denbow of Lewiston; her lifelong friend and sister, Sherry Munson and husband, Loring, of Lubec; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Darrell "Dingo" Denbow; three brothers, Ray, Myron and Edward; as well as one sister, Leona Hoar, all previously of Lubec. She was missed by all. Loving you always, forgetting you never.
      A gathering will be held Saturday, Sept. 22, at the home of Steven Blake, 773 Kingdom Road, Blue Hill. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Christian Temple Church, Main Street, Lubec, with Pastor Gary Look officiating.
