      WILLIAM D. HORR JR., 57, of BRICK

      WILLIAM D. HORR JR., 57, of BRICK, died Wednesday, March 7, at home. He was a branch manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance, Belle Mead, for 29 years, retiring in 1999. Born in Neptune, he lived in Edison before moving to Brick seven years ago. He served in the U.S. Force during the Vietnam War and attained the rank of sergeant. He was a member of the Ocean Grove Chamber of Commerce, member of the Garden State Model Boaters, Spring Lake, and member of the Drum Point Village East Association, Brick. After retirement, he opened his own business called Smugglers Cove, Ocean Grove. He was a former member of Guardian Angel's Roman Catholic Church, Edison.
      Surviving are his wife, Joyce Dalessio Horr; a daughter, Tara Marie Horr of Brick; a son, Michael Horr of Spotswood; and a sister, Elaine Hutto of Chesapeake, Va.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday only, with a funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
