      Obituary:
      By the Standard Staff - 03/30/2004
      David Orr died Friday as the result of an automobile accident near Whitehall.
      He was born Aug. 2, 1946, in Butte to Georgia Hoar of Butte and the late David Hoar.
      David was educated in Butte, graduating from Butte Central in 1964. He later received a degree from DeVry Institute of Phoenix.
      He was an electrician in construction work for many years and worked for Intel Corp. and Advanced Silicon MateriaIs Inc., before his retirement. He loved fishing with his cousin Jim and golfing with his son David.
      Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David and Teri Orr, of Liberty Lake, Wash.; daughter, Carrie and Brent Holder of Eureka; grandchildren, Tayler and Ryan Holder and Sidney and Trey Orr; sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Jim Johnson of Butte, Mary and Al Boognl of Farmington, N.M., and Marji McCaffery of Butte; numerous aunts, uncles, and relatives in Butte.
      Services are 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Ann's Church.
