Horr, 88, formerly of Meredith Drive, a secretary for Brown University's Evening Division for 17 years before retiring in 1969, died Sunday at Orchard View Manor, East Providence. She was the widow of George Granville Horr. Born in Woburn, Mass., a daughter of the late Charles C.H. and Addie M. (Nichols) Straub, she had lived in Providence before moving to Cranston 48 years ago. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Horr leaves no immediate survivors. A memorial service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 747 Broad St., Providence. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, Maine.
