Caption: Death of Capt. Horr
"News is received of the death of Captain A. M. Horr, which occurred at Winneconne [Wisconsin] at 8 o'clock Sunday evening [Nov. 11, 1888]. Capt. Horr was an old sea Caption and a boat builder by trade. He formally lived in this city where he was well known. Of late years he has resided at Winneconne and at one time was proprietor of the Lake View House. He built the steam yacht owned by Geo. W. Peck, and has sailed many a boat in these waters. He was known and well liked by all those familiar with aquatics in this region. He leaves a wife and three children. He had been ailing for some time from chronic diarrhea contracted in the Army where he served gallantly during the war, but his case was not considered critical up to the day of his death. On Tuesday previous he went to the pools and voted and seemed in good spirits."
