      Evelyn Aksberg died Saturday in Butte.
      She was born in Butte on Sept. 7, 1917, to Samuel and Annie (Richards) Hoar and attended local schools.
      Evelyn had worked at the Savoy in Meaderville before becoming the owner and manager of The Colusa Bar in Meaderville.
      She married John K. Aksberg in Idaho in 1970, and he preceded her death in 1995.
      Evelyn is survived by her sister, Mae Smith of Auburn, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
      In accordance with her requests, cremation will occur in Butte and no ser vices are planned at this time. Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
