      Deceased Name: LILLIAN DESMARAIS, 79
      PUTNAM - Lillian E. (Hoar) Desmarais, 79, of Woodstock Avenue died yesterday in her home after a long illness.
      Her husband, H. Aime Desmarais, died in 1961.
      She leaves a daughter, Judith Dennison of South Woodstock; three grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
      She was born in Woonsocket, R.I., daughter of Charles and Alberta (Kingsley) Hoar, and lived here since 1941.
      She worked for many years at Woodstock Line Co. here, retiring in 1987.
      Mrs. Desmarais was a member of Putnam Congregational Church.
      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove St. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Woonsocket, R.I.
