Death of Mrs. Wright Funeral Monday
After a two years illness of anemia Mrs. Warren Wright died Friday afternoon at her home on Union street. The funeral will be held at the residence Monday afternoon at one o'clock. A resident of St. Johnsbury for a number of years, Mrs. Wright possessed a host of warm friends. She was a member of the South Congregational church, deeply interested in the work of the various organizations of the church and closely affiliated with the Woman's Home Missionary society.
Mrs. Wright was a native of Cumberland county, Nova Scotia. She was Ruth Wade, daughter of James and Priscilla (Wilt) Wade and was born March 17, 1859. Her first husband, Benjamin Wright, died in 1893 and some years later in 1903 she married her brother-in-law, Warren Wright. Their married life was spent entirely in Danvers, Mass., and St. Johnsbury. Of Mrs. Wright's family of seven children six are living. Mrs. F. L. Gates, Elmer Wright and Benjamin Wright of Danvers, Mass., Mrs. Charles Hoar,
Alfred Wright and Miss Henrietta Wright of St. Johnsbury. A daughter, Mrs. Minnie Wylie of Beverly, Mass., died in 1900.
Mrs. Wright is survived also by two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Frank Lewis of North Weymouth, Mass., Mrs. Eliza McCormick of Digby, Nova Scotia and John Wade of Peabody, Mass. The children, the sisters and the brother are all here to attend the funeral.
