  [[ Obituary: Crossville Chronicle (TN) - May 18, 2006 Noreene B. Balch Aug. 13, 1926 ? May 14, 2006 Noreene Beatrice Balch, 79, of Fairfield Glade, passed away May 14, 2006. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 19, at 11 a.m. at Fairfield Glade Community Church. The Rev. Dale Marshall will be officiating. Burial will be in Stanwood, Iowa. Mrs. Balch was born Aug. 13, 1926 in Stanwood, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Florence Large Horr. She was retired as an educator, having taught fourth grade in the Manitowoc, WI School District. She was a very active lady who loved to play golf and always enjoyed a game of bridge. She also loved to travel and managed to see most all of the United States and several other countries. She was a talented pianist and organist and played at several churches and various weddings. Survivors include her sons, Thomas L. Barnes of Delavan, WI, Steven E. Barnes of Rosendale, WI and James P. Barnes of Germantown, WI; sisters, Catherine Davidson of Naples, FL, Mary Day of Muskegon, MI and Helen Skewes of Muskego, WI; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Barnes and William Balch; son, David Barnes; and brother, William Horr.
