Directly after his marriage he fixed his home in Attica, NY. There he lived, raised a small family of children, and died at his appointed time.
He was a man of strong, discerning mind, of solid judgment, virtuous habits, tender sympathies; much accustomed to study, and to a careful investigation of all subjects coming within the reach of his knowledge, or reach of his perceptions. Long will he be unforgotten by his friends and acquaintances.
