This profile and entire lineage is locked so we can't correct parentage, view or add marriage dates, or other interesting information or correct other types of inaccuracies. If it is kept locked, we will have to unlink it from everybody else and it should be kept private. We are obliged to re-enter the lineage with all of the accurate information and others can more detail over time, as the web discloses greater depth. If you wish to keep your line private and un-editable, do not merge. It is better to have your own pedigree on home family tree software. However, if you wish to have a full pedigree, do not lock-out ability to modify. Locking makes it impossible to improve the pedigree by tweaking errors. The locked pedigree line was not backed up by documentation and had important errors.
