STOUGHTON - Jennie H.
(Felos) DeLuca, 101, died unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 24, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Carl DeLuca.
Born in Itri, Italy, she came to the United States as an infant and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mrs. DeLuca was educated in Stoughton schools.
She worked as a seamstress for Cable Raincoat and Nashers Clothing for many years and retired from Twin-Kee Raincoats in Stoughton several years ago. Mrs. DeLuca also did dressmaking and alterations out of her home for many years.
She was a devoted and loyal communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Mrs. DeLuca was a dedicated and loving mother who was known for her kind and generous nature to all.
In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Robert C. "Duke" DeLuca and his wife Jeanne and Carol A. Lishman and her husband William all of Stoughton.
She was the grandmother of Jennifer Hoar and her husband Michael of Westford and the great-grandmother of Kylie and Colin Hoar. She was the sister of Ralph Janaro and Etta Naves, both of Brockton and the late Anthony Felos, Rose Colbert, Francis Miller, Mary Deacon and Pauline Felos.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Friday from 4-8 p.m.
Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
