      BONNEY, 53, DIES

Miss Mabel Ida Bonney, 53, resident of this city for about 29 years, died at about 6 Monday evening at the residence of her sister, Mrs. A. Thomas Foster, 1008 Washington street, with whom she resided. She had been in ill health for about two years. She suffered from heart disease and later an embolism developed. She had been confined to her bed for about eleven weeks.

Her mother, Mrs. Ella Horr Bonney, died Oct. 5, 1932, at the Foster home, at the age of 82 years.

Miss Bonney was born June 21, 1860, on a farm in the town of Brownville, a daughter of the late Madison and Ella E. Horr Bonney. Her mother was born at Stone Mills, a daughter of the late Benjamin Stiles Horr, who was also a native of Stone Mills, and the late Ann Eliza Irwin Horr. Members of the Horr family were among the pioneer settlers of Stone Mills.

Madison Bonney, Miss Bonney's father, was a farmer in the town of Brownville. Miss Bonney lived in the town of Brownville until she came to this city. Her father died in July, 1902, and about two years later Miss Bonney came to this city with her mother. Her education was received in the district schools of Brownville, and the public schools of this city.

She was a member of the Perch River grange; the All Souls Universalist church; the All Souls Guild and the Ladies' Aid and Mission circle of the church.

Surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. A. Thomas Foster and Miss Grace G. Bonney; two brothers, Raymond H. Bonney and Roy D. Bonney; and three nephews, Lyle G. Bonney, George E. Bonney and Warren R. Bonney, all of this city.

Miss Bonney was one of a family of six children. A brother, George, died in childhood.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Foster home. Rev. Dr. Harry W. Reed, pastor of the All Souls Universalist church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Parish cemetery in the town of Pamelia.
