      Obituary:
      WINCHESTER, Frances of Merrill, Michigan. Passed away Wednesday September 30, 2009 at Covenant - Harrison at the age of 93 years. Frances was born July 3, 1916 in Lakefield Township, Michigan, the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Kleipera) Novak. She married Clifton Hoard November 25, 1941 he predeceased her in 1964, she then married William Winchester June 25, 1970 he predeceased her November 25, 1979. Frances was a member of the Merrill Golden Age club. Surviving are a son Richard and his wife Carolyn Hoard, St. Charles; two granddaughters Pamela Hoard-Blakeslee, Paula Ellison; two great grandchildren Amanda Blakeslee and Mikeal Blakeslee II; one brother; Ernest Novak, one sister Mildred and Wilmer Oldenberg; two step-children Alice Winchester and Dan and Ruth Winchester.Frances; one sister in law, Wilma Novak. she was predeceased by one brother and John Novak; two sisters and brother-in-laws Ernestine and Don Sny and Mary Ann and Fred Geiger. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw St. Merrill Michigan. Rev. Jeffrey Wlliams will officiate with burial to follow in Lakefield Cemetery Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the charity of the donors choice. www.casefuneralhome.com
