  [[ Obituary: Hoard, William Russell Published: Wednesday, October 15, 2008 Mr. William Russell Hoard, age 70 years, passed away suddenly at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Monday, October 13, 2008 with his family and friends by his side. William (Billy), love to go camping at Uncle Wilf's camp on Lake Shebandowan, sitting out at the bonfires, fishing and watching NASCAR. Many cherished memories of all the good times will be held close to our hearts. He is survived by his children Theresa and John, Maggie from Calgary, Christie, Edward for BC, Jack and Lori, siblings Nelson (Marlene), Raymond (Nancy), Judy (Nick) and Donald (Gwen). Also surviving are grandchildren Bob, Shanda, Dillion, Justine, Patrick, Christopher, Jesse, Bailey and Jared, great grandchildren Bryce, Brandon, Sierra, Misha from Calgary, aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 47 years Eleanor Hoard and his parents Ted and Tilly. We would like to thank all the nurses, doctors and paramedics that took special care of our Dad. Funeral services for the late Mr. William Russell Hoard will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 17, 2008, in the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James with Rev. Millie Wauhkonen officiating. Interment to be held at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
