      Poughkeepsie - Mary E. Sutrich, formerly of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away April 24, 2012 at the Port St. Lucie Nursing and Restorative Care Center in Port St. Lucie, FL. She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on August 10, 1912 the daughter of Charles and Nellie Hoar Lambo. On December 31, 1933, she married Stephen Sutrich at St. Mary's Church in Poughkeepsie. He predeceased her in 1983. Mary was a Supervisor for Service Assistance for the NY Telephone Co. in Poughkeepsie until her retirement after 33 years.She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Poughkeepsie and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mary is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Richard J. & Joan Sutrich of Port St. Lucie, Fl.; son Robert C. Sutrich of Lima, Peru; grandchildren Leslie Grant, Cathy Sutrich, John Paul Sutrich and Theresa M. Paugh and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her son Roger W. and her sister Dorothy Scheltmeyer. There will be no calling hours. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
