Clarence E. Horr, 85, of 826 S. Third Ave., died at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday [February 4, 1986] at Graham Hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1900, in Canton, the son of Owen and Cynthia (Foote) Horr. He married Hazel H. Hughes Feb. 24, 1924, in Canton. She died Aug. 19, 1979. Survivors include one son, Virgil E. Horr of Canton; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood Cemetery, the Rev. Delmar Smith and the Rev. Joe Richard officiating. There will be no visitation. Oaks Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

CANTON - Wanda L. Vinardi, 71, of Sunset Manor died there at 12:10 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2000.
She was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Canton to Glen C. and Daisy P. Smith Horr.
Surviving are four sisters, Elizabeth Newton and Wilma ''Jean'' Nebergall, both of Canton, Mary Ulrich of Peoria and Judith Woodcock of Trivoli.
One brother preceded her in death.
She had worked as a beautician in the Canton area.
She was a former member of South Park United Methodist Church in Canton.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Rusty Beals will officiate. There will be no visitation. OaksHines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Heart Association

Wilma Jean Nebergall, 80, of 818 S. Third Ave., Canton passed away at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Sunset Rehabilitation and Health Center.
She was born on February 15, 1931 in Canton to Glen C. and Daisy P. (Smith) Horr. Jean married Raymond L. Nebergall on February 2, 1952 in Winona. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1998.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and one sister.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Frances Jordan of Peoria; four step-granddaughters; six step great-grandchildren; three step great-great grandchildren; and three sisters, Elizabeth Newton of Canton, Mary Ulrich of Peoria and Judy (Don) Woodcock of Trivoli.
Jean worked as a nurse's aide and ran Ray and Jean's Furniture Store with her husband. She was a very active member of the South Park United Methodist Church in Canton.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 7 at South Park United Methodist Church where visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. The Rev. Rick Atchley will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
Memorials may be made to her church. Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
