    Obituary:
    Mr. Marvin James Hoar Sr., 65, of Oxford Street, entered into rest April 25, 2003.
    He was the beloved husband for 43 years of Mrs. Barbara Brenner Hoar.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Marvin J. Hoar Jr. and James B. Hoar and daughter-in- law, Dana A. Baldride; three daughters, Gena V. Adams and son-in-law, W. Mike Adams, Eva A. McDonald and son-in-law, Brian S. McDonald and Victoria L. Brady; three grandchildren Ben and Grace Adams and Theron Hoar.
    A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home.
    Friends may call Tuesday from 5:30 until the time of service.

    Michael Alan Hoar was born on 5-09-1953 in Brewer, Maine, the son of Eleanor May (Duplisea) and Ralph Brawn Hoar, Jr. Michael was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He married his first wife, Dawn Adams, in 1972, and had two children: Michael Jr., and Jennifer. (Jennifer died at age 2 months). Michael married his second wife, Micheline Lavoie on 7-02-1980 in Killingly, CT. They had one son, Kevin. Michael died on 10-21-1987 in Plainfield, CT, due to cancer.

    WESTFIELD Ralph Brawn Hoar III Nov. 30, 1955 - Oct. 15, 2012 Mr. Ralph Brawn Hoar III, 56, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 15, 2012 at his home. He was born in Onslow Co. on November 30, 1955, the son of the late Ralph B. Hoar Jr. and Eleanor Duplease' Hoar. Mr. Hoar was a journeyman meat cutter by trade and was a loving father and grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Randy, and a nephew, Randy Jr. He is survived by two daughters, Crystal Bierer (Jonathan) of Alabama and Carrie Tipps (Seth) of Tennessee; a son, Ralph B. Hoar IV (Karen) of King; 11 grandchildren, Nick, Brittany, Silas, Levi, Naomi, Caleb, Micah, Elijah, Zoe, Kara and Legend; two brothers, Wendall James Hoar and Mitchell Thomas Hoar. A memorial service celebrating Ralph's life will beconducted 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Leroy Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at thefuneral home.

    Mildred M. Guess
    Mildred Marie '"'Mickey'"' Honeycutt Williams Guess, 60, of Winchester, Tenn., died Friday, August 25, 2000, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
    Ms. Guess was a native of Montgomery County, Md., and a longtime resident of Grundy County, and more recently Franklin County, Tenn. She was the daughter of Nola Mae Hill Honeycutt Sullivan and Willard Honeycutt.
    Ms. Guess attended Abundant Life Church in Winchester.
    She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys and Virginia, and two brothers, Ronnie and Carl Honeycutt.
    Survivors include her children, Vickey J. Slajchert and Renee E. Money, both of Winchester, Tenn., April D. Cordova, Monteagle, Tenn., Bonnie S. Rocha, Manchester, Tenn., and Dewey E. Williams Jr., Montgomery County, Md.; grandchildren, Richard, Jason and Jenna Slajchert, Ralph B. Hoar III, Crystal L. Beirer and Carrie N. Williams, Casey C. Cordova, Bryan C. Foutch, Derek Wiley, Thomas (Axl) Merriman, Danielle and Cheyenne Rocha; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Brittany Hoar and Whittley Slajchert.

    BEARDSTOWN - Randell V. Hoar Sr., 48, of Beardstown died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at his home.
    He was born Dec. 29, 1956, in Jacksonville, N.C., the son of Ralph B. and Eleanor Duplisse Hoar. He married Venus A. Chisholm in 1973 in Sneads Ferry, N.C. A son, Randell V. Hoar Jr., preceded him in death.
    Mr. Hoar worked at Cooper's Concrete in Beardstown.
    Survivors: wife, Venus; son, Jeremiah Hoar of Beardstown; daughter, Stacy Haynes of Beardstown; two grandsons; and three brothers, Mitchell Hoar of Butte, Mont., and Rudy and Wendell Hoar, both of Rocky Point, N.C.
    Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Beardstown City Cemetery, the Rev. Steve Griffin officiating.

    BEARDSTOWN - Randell Vaughn Hoar Jr., 30, of Beardstown died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
    He was born July 13, 1974, in Jacksonville, N.C., the son of Randell Vaughn and Venus A. Chisholm Hoar Sr.
    Mr. Hoar worked at Jacksonville Convalescent Center. He was lead vocalist and guitarist for the Funky Circus Fleas.
    Survivors: two sons, Aaron and Xavier Hoar, both of Beardstown; parents, Randell and Venus of Beardstown; great-grandmother, Louise Thompson of Beardstown; brother, Jeremiah Hoar of Beards-town; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and companion, Amber McClenning of Beardstown.
    Graveside services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Beardstown City Cemetery, the Rev. Steve Griffin officiating.

    This space is dedicated to my old friend and brother, Randy Hoar jr who has recently passed away in early May 2005.Randy played guitar for the Funky Circus Fleas in '00-'05,played many countless shows around Illinois and beyond,made a significant name for themselves(and still do),and made a major inspiration of a passion for music/message type lifestyle in my own life and how life itself is like a song you play.Before FcF, during the woodshed days, Randy played in AnUproar, an original band that had resulted from many band members/friends jam sessions from '91-'99,AnUproar included; Randy Hoar/vox/bas/guitar,John Crow/ lead guitar/bak vox,Jim Spinser,Shon Tailer/drum,Tim Diwit/bass.AnUproar had only a few descent recordings done on a four track but many countless boombox and video cam recordings are out there.These songs are very deep and meaningful to me,looking back now there always seemed to be a strange urgency to get this out,and the fact that these songs came together so easily and quickly with everyone playing their part with no friction amongst us,its no wonder it came and went so fast..Randy came up with the album name "Strong Conviction"because some of the lyrics he wrote were so personal and heartfelt that after playing in front of a crowd we dropped some of the songs because of the strong warning that he was compelled to give them and the fact that we're all guilty...I met Randy in '89 the year I started playing guitar,I was 18 he was 15 he was starting to play guitar but his role in a band was obviously singing so he focused on that.He was jammin with Roadkill(Sean Tailer,Arron Slatir,Tim Diwit,John Plunkit,)a very young,energetic,heavy rock band out of B'town who would later become the current FcF..Within a few years I started playing with a few friends from Rushville,including Jasun Perry,and the late Pete Lashbrook.These guys really inspired me to want to learn music theory/scales/modes/lateral/linear type playing as they totally were into ripping out guitar solos.Later,as we got better Randy asked if he could come out and sing and once he did our singer seemed to fall back to the guitar as the obvious"Roar of the Hoar"made his debut...We played many cover tunes but they were always done in an original way as we had thumpin drums, screamin guitars,lowdown bass,and Hoar vocals,from skynerd to slayer every song featured a mosh pit opportunity..
