DELLMAR W. HOAR: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice

Deceased Name: DELLMAR W. HOAR
STORE MANAGER, 80 Dellmar W. Hoar, 80, a store manager, died Thursday at NewSeasons Assisted Living Communities in Voorhees of heart failure due to complications from emphysema.
He lived in Williamstown and Haddonfield before moving to Voorhees less then three weeks ago. He was born and raised on a cattle ranch in South Dakota.
Mr. Hoar managed the former W.T. Grant Co. in Cherry Hill and then the Woolworth's in Mount Holly. He retired in 1983.
As a member of the National Guard, he was called to active duty during World War II and served with the Army in North Africa and Europe.
Before entering the military, he worked at breaking horses.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield.
Mr. Hoar is survived by a son, James D.; daughters Bonnie R. Friedman and Susan L. Ulmer; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Holl-Murphy Funeral Home, West End Avenue at Kings Highway, Haddonfield, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 410 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, N.J. 08035.

Obituary:
Bonnie Ruth Friedman, 62, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, with her family at her side. She was born Bonnie Ruth Hoar on Aug. 16, 1946 in Hot Springs, S.D. Bonnie lived in Haddonfield, Mount Laurel, and then settled in Middletown in 1982 to raise her family. She was a graduate of Drexel University of Philadelphia, Pa., class of 1969, with a degree in computer science. After obtaining her degree, she was employed by General Electric Company and the McGraw Hill Company before starting her family. She also liked to play tennis, bowl and began golfing with her husband Phil. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Dellmar and Ruth Duncan Hoar; and her father-in-law, Sol Friedman. She is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Phillip Friedman; her loving children, Robert and his wife Jennifer of New Rochelle, N.Y., Nancy Friedman and her companion Zeeshan Mir of Piscataway, and Jeffrey Friedman of Middletown; her cherished grandson, Jack Louis Friedman; a sister, Susan Ulmer and her brother-in-law, Owen of Hatfield, Pa.; a brother, James Hoar of Atlantic City; her mother-in-law, Martha Friedman of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michael Friedman and his companion Jennifer Weller of Florida, and Richard Friedman and his wife Susan of Plainview, N.Y. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Friends are invited to visit from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 29, with services beginning at 4 p.m. at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 Highway 35, Hazlet. In respect of her wishes, Bonnie will be privately cremated.
