    Services for Claude O. Mather, 71, of Kansas City, Kan., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Porter Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Mather died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1993, at Providence-St. Margaret's Health Center in Kansas City, Kan. He was born Feb. 19, 1921, in Kansas City, Kan., and was a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Mather was a maintenance foreman with Cooper Animal Health Co., formerly Jen. Sal Labs, for 44 years before his retirement in 1986. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Wyandotte County Christian Church. He and his wife, Mabel, had been married for 52 years. She survives of the home. Other survivors include three sons, Kenneth, of Baldwin, Michael, of
    Edwardsville, and Russell, Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Arlyne McGaugh, Lawrence, and Claudia Goldberg, Lake Elsinore, Calif.; a brother, Arlie Curry, Tulsa, Okla.; eight sisters, Louise Tucker, Welda, Hazel Dickson, Hulbert, Okla.,
    Pauline Subelca, Paola, Claudine Tibbs, Sunrise Beach, Mo., Mary Edler, Branson, Mo., Georgia Dougherty, Bonner Springs, Bessie Dougherty, Kansas City, Kan., and Myrtle Coffey, Camdenton, Mo.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Husband of Mabel A. Leathers Mather. Father of Kenneth D. "Kenny" Mather (1946-2002), Michael D. Mather, Russell K. Mather, M. Arlyne Mather McGaugh and Claudia J. Mather Goldberg.
