Deceased Name: Esther Adele Boltz, 103
ROCHELLE - Esther Adele Boltz, 103, formerly of Rochelle, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, in Rennes Health Center, Appleton, Wis. Born March 12, 1899, in Earlville, daughter of George and Flora (Horr) Davis. Married Elmer G. Boltz on July 18, 1929, in DeKalb he died Sept. 25, 1979. Graduate of Chicago Musical College and taught music at Earlville and Belvidere high schools. Directed the Methodist Church Choir in Rochelle in 1934 and for many years to follow. Organized and directed the Choraliers. Member of First Untied Methodist Church. Also member of P.E.O. Sisterhood, Womens Club, Service Club, Flagg Rochelle Historical Society, member for many years of Rochelle Hospital Auxiliary and member of Eastern Star, Troy Grove for more than 50 years. Survivors include daughter, Patricia (John) Ingmand of Ormond Beach, Fla. daughter-in-law, JoAnn Boltz of Muncie, Ind. six grandchildren four stepgrandchildren 11 great-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren. Also predeceased by two brothers three sisters and son, Paul.
Services at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, in United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Judith Sherk officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the church music program. Arrangements were completed by Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. Sixth St. 12-26-2

Esther married Elmer G. Boltz on 18 Jul 1929 in Dalekalb, Dekalb Co, Illinois, USA. Elmer died on 25 Sep 1979. [Group Sheet]
