      Bertha G. Crossman FORKS STREAM, NB - Bertha Gladys (Corey) Crossman, age 91, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on September 17, 2003, after a lengthy illness. Born in Forks Stream, Canaan Forks on January 7, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Cady H. and Eliza M. (Keirstead) Corey. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Canaan United Baptist Church. She will be sadly missed by her children, three daughters, Ella Hoar (Hughie) of Southfield, Laura Ann Mackenzie (Robert) of Gilford, Ontario, and Faye Sleep (Alvin) of Forks Stream Road; two sons, James (Joan) of Harewood, Francis (Marjorie) of Shelburne, Ontario; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Percy E. in 1982; a son, Fred; daughter, Erma Wilt; daughter in law, Charlotte; five sisters, Theresa Mochler, Bessie Connell, Mildred Black, Neva Maxwell, Laura McGlenn; four brothers, Moses, Oscar, Tupper and Nase. The remains are resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, (506) 756-3361, with visiting hours on Friday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the New Canaan United Baptist Church on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Doug Tatton and Pastor Wayne Ward officiating. Interment will be in the New Canaan Cemetery. Donations may be made to the memorial of the donor's choice. www.armstrongsfh.com
