      Obituary:
      Kalamazoo Gazette (MI) - July 24, 2008
      HOARD, Dayton Of Phoenix, AZ, Formerly of Paw Paw, Passed away peacefully on July 20, 2008. Dayton was born June 1, 1919 in Kalamazoo, MI. He and his wife, Frances, moved to California in 1956 where they built a successful furniture business. They returned to Michigan in 1977 and settled in Paw Paw, where they ran the Red Arrow Trading Post, retiring to Phoenix, Arizona in 2006. Dayton is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Frances (Curtis) Hoard; three children, Bonnie Lou Leale of Buckeye, AZ, Bill Hoard of Martin, MI and Beverly Lynn Burke of Scottsdale, AZ; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Lee Morris. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 25, 2008 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan. Friends and family are invited. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
