      Hoard, Eleanor

      Mrs. Eleanor Anne Hoard, age 65 years, passed away peacefully in hospital with her family and friends by her side on Thursday, January 25, 2007. Eleanor loved camping and fishing at Uncle Wilfred's camp at Shebandowan Lake. She loved knitting and her Friday night cards with her good friends Diane and Cheryl. Survived by her husband of 47 years, William Hoard and daughters Theresa (John), Maggie from Calgary and Christie; sons, Edward from B.C. and Jack (Lori) from Toronto; brothers Ron (Cindy) Archibald New Mexico, Wayne (Joan) B.C. and Neal from B.C. and sister Darlene. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Zoe Archibald. We would like to thank all the nurses that took special care of our mother and the Doctors at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Eleanor Anne Hoard will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 29, 2007, in the Westfort Chapel, 420 gore Street West at James with Rev. Millie Wauhkonen officiating. Interment to be held at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
