      Obituary:
      Suddenly at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Saturday October 6th, 2007 of Retired MWO-RCAF, Everett N. (Ev) Ward of 331 MacEwen Rd., Summerside, aged 68 years. Ev joined the Armed Services in 1957 at St. Jeans, Quebec. He then served in Camp Borden, Ontario; St. Huberts, Quebec; Cold Lake, Alberta; 4 Wing Baden Baden, Germany; Greenwood, Nova Scotia and finally Slemon Park, Summerside, P.E.I., A member of the 1993 Provincial Senior Men's Curling Team, representing P.E.I. and a former member of the Military hockey and softball teams, employee of Summerside Slemon Park Airport. Born in Kentville, Nova Scotia on December 13, 1938 son of the late Clarke and Mary (Deal) Ward. Husband of Patricia F. (Pat) (Cochrane) Ward. Father of Heather Dorsey, Montague; Nancy (Jeff) Tarkka, Middleton, Nova Scotia; Debbie Ward (Michael Hoar) Prince George, British Columbia and Sharon (Gerry) Pollock, Summerside. Grandfather of Luke and Marshall Dorsey, Ian Tarkka, Sydney and Sam Hoar, Emma and Alissa Pollock. Brother of Louise (Bob) Nichols, Bobcaygeon, Ontario and Valerie (Allan) Mader, Kentville, Nova Scotia. Brother-in-law of Eula Hopper, Murphy Lake, Nova Scotia and Rolena Cochrane, The Forties, Nova Scotia.

      Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired contributions may be made to Spina Bifida Association. Comrades of the George R. Pearkes Br. # 5 Royal Canadian Legion Summerside will hold a service of remembrance in the Funeral Home Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.

      A Graveside Service will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery, Kentville , Nova Scotia on Friday October 12th at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Nova Scotia.
