Obituary:
SHEETS, JERRY RONALD Of Munith, MI, passed away at home under the loving care of his family and hospice on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the age of 77. Jerry was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marines Corp from which he retired from in March of 1972. Surviving are his wife of six years, Gloria; three children, Shane Sheets, Dawn (Jeff) Mellott, and Brian Sheets; 11 grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, Tabitha, Brandon, Sierra, Kayla, Jessica, Jordan, Kaylee, Jessica, and Jeremie; two great-grandchildren, James and Jazamey; five brothers and sisters, Charles (Phyllis), Yvonne (Archie), Donna (Patrick), Ruth and Jim; sister-in-law, Lorraine; special friend, Michelle; numerous nieces and nephews; five step children, Vonda (Thomas) Benie, Patricia Saterlee, James (Sharla) Saterlee, Jennifer Craft and David (Joh-Anna) Bradley; nine step-grandchildren; two step- great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Donna (Hoar) Sheets; first wife, Mary Jane (High) Sheets; one son, Curtis Sheets; one brother, Roger and one sister, Bonnie; brother-in-law, Tom; step daughter, Terry Saterlee. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the JC Adams Funeral Home, Leslie Chapel, on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12 to 1 PM.
