  [[ Obituary: Kitsap Sun Newspaper - Posted March 28, 2012 Joanne Currey died at the Life Care Center in Port Orchard on Sunday morning March 25, 2012, at 6:55 a.m. at the age of 58 after a 3 year battle with stage 4 colon cancer. She is survived by her husband Barry Currey, and children; Michael, Amy, Christine, Tammy, David, Barry II, and grandchildren; Daniel, Paige, Taylor, Noah, Ava, Aiden, Leah, and Grayson. She had a huge impact on lots of people in the community and she will be greatly missed by freinds and family alike. We love and miss you Joanne. She is in a better place now. She's in heaven with Jesus and relatives and freinds who have gone on before her. Dear God, please welcome Joanne into your heavenly realm. Funeral services will be held at Chico Alliance Church (3670 Chico Way NW, Bremerton, WA 98310) on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 10 a.m.
