      CROSSEN, Ellen V.
      Ellen V. Crossen, 80, of Kucko Rd., Willington, CT, beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Crossen, Sr., passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, (October 13, 2009). She was born in Windham, daughter of the late Edwin and Ruby (Wing) Ellison, and step father Frank Dittrich. Ellen worked as many years as office manager for all the Crossen businesses. She was also a member of St. Edward Parish. Ellen is survived by her two sons, Thomas J. Crossen, Jr. and his wife Susan of Coventry, and Raymond F. Crossen of Willington; eight grandchildren, Roger Mayo, James Mayo, Thomas J. Crossen III, Stephanie Gill, Keisha Hoar, Mckenze Crossen, Dollie Harvey, and Russell Crossen; 15 great grandchildren; a great, great grandson; three brothers, Edwin Ellison and his wife Elma, Paul Ellison, and James Ellison and his wife Cynthia; two sisters, Fsaaam and Doris Plante; her dear friend and caregiver, Betty Walker; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Paula W. Mayo; and granddaughter, Virginia M. Duquette.
      Her funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009, with a procession forming by 10 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery, Union, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
