Lee H. Bidwell April 13, 2011 Lee H. Bidwell, 77, of Port Byron, died Wednesday. Survived by wife, Norma Horr Bidwell; daughter, Lynn Bidwell; sons, Brian and Scott Bidwell; sister, Marian Hanahen. Services private. White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Dr., Weedsport.

PORT BYRON - Lee H. Bidwell, 77, of Port Byron, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at his Centerport Road home. Born in Pennsylvania on Oct.16, 1933, Lee was the son of Henry Leroy Bidwell and Luemma Belle Sigworth. He was a veteran of the Korean War, proudly serving with the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a welder for a number of companies throughout his career. After retirement he worked as a job coach with the Seneca Cayuga ARC program. Lee enjoyed spending time at the Elbridge Rod & Gun Club,and used hisartistic talents to handcraft muzzle loaders. Surviving are Lee's wife of 55 years, Norma Horr Bidwell; his daughter, Lynn Bidwell with Keith Leo, of Colorado; two sons, Brian Bidwell, of China, and Scott Bidwell with Rita Hyrnyck, of Texas; a sister, Marian Hanahen, of Florida; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Bidwell was predeceased by a son, Mark Bidwell, and a brother, Vernon Bidwell. Funeral services will be held privately for the family.
