STUARTS DRAFT
Marsha Joan Brady, 71, of 42 Draft Ave., Stuarts Draft, Virginia, died Thursday, November 30, 2006, at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Virginia.
She was born April 5, 1935, in Oneida, New York, daughter of Cleon Dale and Mary Eberman Dale.
She was a former owner of the Coachlight Steakhouse in Hornell, New York.
A long-term patient with the University of Virginia Augusta Dialysis Center, she had a large circle of friends among patients and staff.
Mrs. Brady was a faithful member of Wayne Hills Baptist Church where she attended the B. Hensley and Ann Fox Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, John C. Brady of Stuarts Draft; her sons, Donald D. Brady and his wife, Lisa, of Waynesboro, Virginia, Michael K. Brady of Sarasota, Florida, David Lee Brady of Staunton, Virginia, Scott C. Brady and his wife, Nancy, of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Hillary and Clifford Brady, Catlin and Lauren Brady, and Rachel and Clayton Brady; her brother, Daniel Dale of Bradenton, Florida; her sisters, Delores Dryer of Verona, New York, and Alicia Braddock of Brandon, Florida.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2006, at Wayne Hills Baptist Church by the Reverend Danny Campbell. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Edward Avenue Baptist Church Food Pantry, 222 Edward Ave., Waynesboro, VA 22980.
McDow Funeral Home of Waynesboro is handling arrangements.
