Obituary:
Mildred Muriel Haller-Hoffman, 90, of Hope, Michigan, passed away in Midland, Michigan, on Saturday, April 16, 2011. She was born on March 30, 1921 in Flint, Michigan, to Floyd & Edith (Hamilton) Haller. She married Gordon Hoffman on March 23, 1959 in Flint, and was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in World War II. She had lived in Gladwin County since 1979, previously residing in Flint. She is survived by her husband: Gordon Hoffman of Hope, MI; daughters: Westlynne DeCourval & Nancy Grant both of Flint, MI; sons: Denny Sperling of Denver, Colorado & Shannon (Sue) Hoffman of Springhill, Tennessee; daughter: Shawnette Hoffman of Hope, MI; 17 grandchildren & 27 great grandchildren; sister: Caroline Lackey of South Carolina and several nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her son: Christopher Campbell; granddaughter: Jennifer Hahn; grandson: Zachariah Sperling; great grandson: David Scharrer; parents: Floyd & Edith Haller; brothers: Thomas and Charles Haller; sisters: Arena Haller, Irma Roster. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and a Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011, 2:00 P.M., with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Billings Bible Church, 4077 River Rd., Albright Shores, Michigan.
