      Rodney E. Klose, 72, Pine Mountain, Ga.
      ? PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. ? Rodney E. Klose, 72, of Pine Mountain, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange.

      He was born Dec. 28, 1937, in Lewisburg, Pa., a son of the late Ralph "Bud" and Carrie (Felker) Klose. He was married to the former Jerry Grogan, who survives.

      Mr. Klose was a staff sergeant in the Army.

      He was the owner-operator of Saylor & Sons Garment Manufacturing and worked at Shade Mountain Golf Course and D&D Sporting Goods.

      Mr. Klose was an avid bowler and also loved hunting and fishing.

      In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gregory Klose, of Livermore, Calif., and Randy and Kathryn Klose, of Selinsgrove, Pa.; two grandchildren, Sarah Klose and Tyler Klose, both of Selinsgrove; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Gayle Klose, of Pennsylvania; one stepdaughter, Stephanie Bell, of Pine Mountain; and one stepgranddaughter, Becca Bell, of Pine Mountain.

      He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Klose.

      A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown, Pa.

      In lieu of flowers it is requested that contributions be made in memory of Mr. Klose to the American Cancer Society, 57 Reitz Blvd. Ste. 102, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
