      Tennie Nimagene Hammon, 83, of Paragould died Wednesday, April 26, 2006 in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

      She was born Aug. 1, 1922, at Mt. Vernon, Ill., to the late Jim Wells and Eva Wells Lamb. She was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.

      She was also preceded in death by twin daughters, Marla Sue and Marsa Lou Hammon; and a sister, Lucedda Winn.

      Survivors include her husband, Lester Hammon of the home; a daughter, Sandy Boozer; four sons, Manuel, Jim and Frankie Hammon, all of Paragould, and Gerald Hammon of Flippin; sisters, Gladis Kaminski of Michigan, Sharron Austin and Shannon Smithee of Paragould; a brother, Vincent Wells of Fresno, Calif.; grandchildren, Dennis Hammon, Debra Satters, Carla Foster, Kevin Hammon, Darin Hammon, Seth Hammon, Frankie Hammon Jr., Todd Hammon, Ian Hammon, Tammy Edwards, Amy Jackson, Lisa Sasser, Brad Hammon, Dave Altenbaumer, Stephanie Hammon and Colby Hammon; 28 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Royce Boling officiating. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery.

      The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at Heath Funeral Home.

      Pallbearers are Dennis Hammon, Kevin Hammon, Darin Hammon, Todd Hammon, Ian Hammon, Frankie Hammon Jr., Dave Altenbaumer and Colby Hammon.

      Memorials may be made to Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.
