Obituary: Zollie E. Larrabee, 95, Manhattan, KS passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005 in the Meadowlark Hills Health Care Center/Collins House, Manhattan. She was born March 27, 1910 in Tucson, AZ territory, the daughter of John William Estill and Susie (Hoar) Estill. She moved, with her family, at an early age to Carrier, OK, where she grew up and attended the local schools. She later received a BA degree in education from Central State College, Edmund, OK. She was united in marriage to I. E. Larrabee on August 21, 1935 at Carrier. He preceded her in death in March 1965. Mrs. Larrabee had been a resident of Kingfisher, OK from 1936 until moving to Manhattan in January 1998. She was a homemaker and was a teacher in the Kingfisher school system. She was a member of the Kingfisher First Christian Church and the PEO Chapter Y and the Kingfisher Study Club. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Larrabee was preceded in death by a son, David Larrabee in June 1988; a brother; and two sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Ann Friesen, Manhattan; a brother, Bill Estill, Enid, OK; four sisters, Ruth Bennett, Avis Gage and Jean Estill, all of Enid, and Iris Anderson, Waukomis, OK; three grandchildren, Chuck Long, and his wife, Kerry, Susie Troutt, and her husband, Doug and April Friesen; and five great grandchildren, Sandy, Bradley and Alex Long and Hannah and Sarah Troutt. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2005 in the First Christian Church, Kingfisher with the Rev. John Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in the Kingfisher Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Larrabee will receive friends Thursday, December 8, 2005 at the Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Kingfisher First Christian Church. The Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, 1317 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan, KS 66502 was in charge of Manhattan arrangements. Online condolences can be sent
