      Observer-Reporter (Washington, PA) - February 7, 2004
      Deceased Name: C. Lester Inghram
      Farmer was security guard at West Greene High School
      C. Lester Inghram, 85, of Waynesburg, formerly of Center Township, died at 7:30 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2004, in his home. Though in poor health the past several months, his death was unexpected.
      He was born March 1, 1918, in Sycamore, a son of Robert Downy and Mary Jane Longstreath Inghram.
      Mr. Inghram resided in Center Township, Greene County, for 53 years prior to moving to Waynesburg in 2000.
      He was a member of Bates Fork Baptist Church and had attended Holbrook Christian Church.
      Mr. Inghram was formerly employed as a security guard at West Greene High School and was a self-employed dairy farmer all his working life.
      He enjoyed square dancing as long as his health permitted.
      On October 9, 1940, he married Della Marie Stahl, who survives.
      Also surviving are two daughters, Martha Horr of Holbrook R.D.1 and Barbara Bedilion of Graysville R.D.1; a son, Charles E. Inghram of Holly Pond, Ala.; five grandchildren, Mark and Timothy Horr, Diane Bedilion Whipkey, Tammy Inghram Durbin and Camalia Inghram Pattison; 14 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
      Deceased are a grandson, Lester Bedilion; two great-grandchildren who died in infancy; a sister, Lucretia Smith; and three brothers, Arthur, Harry and Ralph Inghram.
