      John Andreesen Dies Unexpectedly, Sunday, June 28
      John C Andreesen, 75, Anamosa, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 28 at his residence at 206 park Ave.
      Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, at 1:30 pm at St. Paul Lutheran church. Rev. Nolan W. Harmon will conduct the service. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
      Pallbearers include Carl Siebels, Garret Gerdes, Jr., Richard Andreesen, James Glick, Darrel Goodenow and David Burns.
      George Rieken will be organist. Henry Biere will be soloist.
      He was born June 21, 1895, son of Henry Andreesen and Margaret Folkerts Andreesen, Kloster, Germany. He came to the United States in 1907 with his parents and settled in Wayne township. He attended Wayne township school.
      He was married Feb 27, 1924, to Fern Horr. He farmed near Anamosa, until moving to Anamosa in 1959. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church.
      Survivors Listed..Survivors included his wife, Fern; a daughter, Betty Tampa, Fla.; tow sons, Robert, Center Junction and John E. Anamosa, and five grandchildren.
