She is the oldest of their four children. Her brothers include Reginald Harris Bayley, Waverly Wayne Bayley, and Basillph R Bayley. She married David Peter Mickels on December 22, 1919 in Deschutes County, Oregon. The couple have seven children: Dorothy E Mickels, Evelyn Frances Mickels, Richard D Mickels, Phyllis L Mickels, Patricia K Mickels, Margaret Mary Mickels, and Kenneth Mickels. Ruth is dearly loved and missed by all her family! She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. Her family extends to the hundreds and yet during her life she would remember each and every person with a card on their birthday! The cards would always be signed "oodles & oodles of love." "Oodles and oodles of love" is what Ruth had for all of her family and what all of her family will always have for her!
