M'AULIFFE-CHRIST.
More than 200 friends attended the
reception following the marriage of
Miss Madeline McAullffe, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. McAullffe.
to John H. Christ of Richmond
Hill. The reception was held
at the home of the bride's parents,
162-18 Seventy-sixth road, Flushing-
Hillcrest.
The bride was dressed in a gown
of satin and old lace, and carried
bridal roses. She was attended by
Josephine Zeize, who was attired in
a dress of peach lace and carried
tea roses. Bridesmaids were Florence
McAuliffe, Alma Kerr, Eleanor
Dahl and Mildred Kast.
The best man was Frank Lyon.
Ushers were John Kerr, John Vandervick,
Edward Christie and
Thomas McAuliffe.
Mr. and Mrs. John H. Christ are
now on their honeymoon in Washington,
D. C.
The reception also marked the
twenty-sixth wedding anniversary
of the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Edward J. McAuliffe. They were
presented with a basket of flowers
by the Paumonok Democratic Club.
The engagement of Josephine
Zeize, maid of honor, to Frank
Lyon, best man, was also anounced
at this time.
