  [[ Her sister's obituary: Rockford Register Star (IL) - March 23, 2004 Deceased Name: Ann 'Anna' J. Conant 80 Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister ROCKFORD - Ann Conant of Rockford died peacefully at 6:45 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2004. She was born Nov. 15, 1923, to Joseph and Frances (Domino) Cuccia. Anna married Harry G. Conant June 20, 1945. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Survivors include her son, Robert J. (Margot) Conant of Rockford; daughter, Rita (Ernie) Thomas of Rockford; grandchildren, David Conant, Michele (Kevin) DePauw, Todd Michael (Carey) Cantrall, Kimberly Ann Cantrall; great-grandchildren, James DePauw and Emma Cantrall; and sister, Mary Frances (Marvin) Horr of Arizona. She was predeceased by her husband and parents. Anna's family would like to thank VNA Hospice, the staff of Rosewood and especially her granddaughter, Kimberly. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, in St. Bernadette Church, with the Rev. John L. Stringini officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, with rosary at 6:45, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd., Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave.; visitation also from 10 a.m. to service Wednesday in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established at a later date. 3-22-2
