  [[Obituary: New York Times Company Dec 10, 1994 GLOUCESTER - Paul D. Malboeuf, 77, of 53 Wingaersheek Road, a former teacher and automotive executive, died Sunday in Addison- Gilbert Hospital after an illness. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Ruth L. (Hoar) Malboeuf; five sons, Paul Malboeuf of Ann Arbor, Mich., Richard A. Malboeuf of Rhinebeck, N.Y., Michael P. Malboeuf of Clinton Township, Mich., Stephen D. Malboeuf of Gloucester and Mark A. Malboeuf of Arlington Heights, Ill.; two brothers, Edmund and Ralph Malboeuf, both of Dudley; a sister, Esther Cournoyer of Webster; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Webster, son of Alfred and Ellen B. (O'Neill) Malboeuf, and lived many years in Plymouth, Mich. He lived here 16 years. He graduated from Webster High School in 1934 and Salem State College in 1938. He earned a master's degree in education from Clark University, Worcester, in 1948. He began his career as a teacher and department head at Tourtellotte High School in Thompson in 1938. He was later vice principal of Westwood High School. After World War II, he taught at Bryant & Stratton School in Boston and was a county organizer for the Republican State Committee. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Asian- Pacific theater, and the Korean War, serving in Korea. He then served in the Navy Reserve, retiring about 1963 as a commander. He joined Ford Motor Co. in Somerville in 1950 and rose to manager of industrial relations in the Automotive Assembly Division in Detroit. He retired in 1978. He was active for many years in community activities. At his request, no funeral services are planned. After cremation, his ashes will be scattered at sea. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of the North Shore, 8 Angle St., Gloucester, 01930. James C. Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., is directing arrangements.
